Items I collect from the forest inspire me to create patterns aswell. At some point I would like to start creating detailed vintage-inspired floral patterns.

Cabin by the lake
I always become more inspired when I'm in a certain environment. Especially at the beach or in a forest. I think it's because I have grown up around these environments and because I spend a lot of time there I always find, photograph or collect items that could work in a project I'm doing. An example of this would be in my Earth Artifact project where I saw the image on the left and added it to my blog and found old pictures of a forest I have been to called Bransby Forest. Finding these helped me to decide what landscape I wanted to create in my animate and I used them to help me design the background.
The trees I created I made after a lesson in Adobe Illustrator at University. I have never had the patience to draw trees before so doing it on a program I was experienced in helped a lot.
