Stefan Sagmeister
In this morning's lecture we watched a TED video in which Stefan Sagmeister talked about happiness, I've seen the clip many times before in college and often thought about my own happiness in design. I've noticed that when I'm any emotion other than happy my work is rather dull in colour and when I am happy it is full of colour.
I've been looking at Sagmeister's work for a few years, it helps to look at other typography when creating my own because I like to borrow parts of their characteristics and merge them into my designs to make something new. Sagmeister's work was also a key influence in my latest project in a typography class in which I created my own type from a physical form.
