Our last packaging class had us creating our cereal boxes. The process was quite simple starting out with me taking the imagery I'd collected and drawn, and redrawing it in illustrator to create the character. The pattern is one taken from one I have made beforehand from my own pattern collection, it was original in more of a zigzag formation but because of the lack of surface the pattern needed to have more volume on the page. I had designed the monster so that the mouth could be used to look inside the packaging at the product.
