Workshop Week Term 2

It's been a while since this years 2nd Workshop Week but my work on my projects took priority over posting what I did. One of the last workshops I did was a Cinema 4D Workshop a designer who creates realistic environments for magazines and websites and also character designs for games. He started of by going into what programs he used and showed us a demonstration of a program the university doesn't have and challenged us to create a realistic bottle in Cinema 4D using the ones put in front of us. At the time I wasn't really interested in the techniques he was showing I went because I wanted to get ideas on textures I could use in my visual appendix. However no techniques were talked about in the class a lot of us had to work with the knowledge we had of Cinema 4D.

Another Workshop I went to was a branding workshop led by the agency Bloom, I always like to go to workshops like these to get more ideas for my own work. It was here I collected more ideas for colour palettes and found more fonts that I can use in my work, after hearing about the company and how they add humour into their work we started to brand an idea or ourselves. I wanted to focus on rebranding myself in the workshop the type used in their presentation had given me an idea for the design of a more refined cv. I wanted to keep the structure of my old cv yet look further into the original idea and find the mistakes which led me astray in the first attempt creating it.
